Forest Fire Control Training and Development Center, Northern Region Pete Devakul's blog The Northern Forest Fire Control Training and Development Center, Chiang Mai Province , organized a training to enhance the competence of the Special Forest Fire Operations Unit, Class 2, for the fiscal year 2025, between 15 - 20 January 2025, with 138 trainees from the Special Forest Fire Operations Unit (Fire Tigers) of 6 centers: Chiang Mai Forest Fire Operations Center, Phrae Forest Fire Operations Center, Tak Forest Fire Operations Center, Phitsanulok Forest Fire Operations Center, Khon Kaen Forest Fire Operations Center, and Nakhon Ratchasima Forest Fire Operations Center. On January 19, 2025, the Special Operations Unit officers patrolled the forest area using GPS coordinates, the Handy application, and compass map readings.
